The Noctarium

Come and visit the Noctarium. Using a reverse cycle of lighting, visitors will be able to view dunnarts, hopping mice, plains rats, possums, potoroos, frogmouth, curlews, geckos, pythons, death adder, tree snakes, frogs, eel, spiders, scorpions and stick insects active during the day. Most will be displayed in landscaped cages, aviaries or aquaria and a few mammals and birds will be free-ranging. Located near the noctarium will be the python tree, so you will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures. The nature of the Noctarium with its darkened interior and some native animals moving freely inside, means that visitor numbers will be monitored for the sake of animal welfare and for safety reasons.
